Early Drop Off: Please do not drop off students prior to 7:15 a.m. There is no supervision of students until that time.
· Parking Lot Reminder: Please remember that the parking lot is for STAFF ONLY between the hours of 7-3. It is expected that parents DO NOT PARK or drive through to drop off or pick up their children. We appreciate your cooperation with this procedure.
· Morning Entry Gate: ALL students in grades 1-6 enter our campus from the small side gate on 176th street. Kindergarten students will continue to enter through the Kindergarten gate. If a Kindergartner has a sibling(s), the sibling(s) may enter through the front office gate. Also, a Kindergartner will be allowed to enter through the 176th street entrance, so as long as they are accompanied by a sibling who will walk them all the way to the Kindergarten playground.

ONLY bussed students will be allowed to enter through the gate nearest to the Kitchen each morning.
· Dismissal Times and Gates: We have 4 dismissal gates at Kennedy. This is done to disperse the students quicker and avoid an overcrowding of people in one specific area.
TK= dismissed through the TK dismissal gate nearest to Artesia Blvd.
Kindergarten = dismissed through the Kindergarten gate.
Rooms 10, 12, and 14 = dismissed through the gate by the front office.
Rooms 5, 7, 9, 11, and 13 = dismissed through the large gate by the parking lot and MPR.
Rooms 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 = dismissed through the side gate on 176th by the playground.
· Teachers walk their whole class out to the front at the same time in order to supervise students longer, helping them remain calmer and act more appropriately.
· All areas in front of school are for immediate loading and unloading only. Tickets will be issued for leaving your car unattended in these areas.

Warning: Street sweeping is on Belshire Avenue on Thursdays and on 176th Street on Fridays. Please be mindful of No parking signs and where they are located on the street so you do not receive a parking citation.

· Please use the crosswalk to cross the street, do not jaywalk, and make sure your child does the same. Use the crosswalks for safety.
